MyronCars – car export platform by Myron Trade

Online calculators: from FOB China to total landed cost in Europe

MyronCars is a car export brand of Myron Trade, a Shanghai-based company that has been helping clients work with China for more than 10 years. We export new and used vehicles directly from Chinese dealers and manufacturers, arrange inspections, registration in China, logistics and customs clearance – without middlemen and hidden mark-ups.

On this page you can estimate the FOB price in China (Shanghai / Guangzhou) and the total landed cost in the EU – including ocean freight, import duty, VAT and optional services at the port of arrival. The calculation is indicative and does not replace a final offer from our team, but it gives you a clear idea of the budget before you contact us.

How MyronCars works for EU buyers

A simple and transparent process of buying cars in China and delivering them to Europe.

We specialise in exporting Chinese cars directly to private buyers and companies in Europe. Our team is based in Shanghai and operates warehouses and partners across China – from Guangzhou and Chengdu to Tianjin and Khorgos.

  • 1. You choose a car in China. You find a new or used vehicle on a Chinese marketplace and send us the link to the listing. If needed, we can also suggest models and help you compare options.
  • 2. We verify the seller, the car and the documents. Our specialists check the VIN, service history, photos and video, and verify the legal status of the seller. For new cars we work only with authorised dealers or directly with manufacturers.
  • 3. We organise purchase, registration and export. MyronCars buys the car on your behalf, arranges registration in China if required, prepares export documentation and books sea freight to your chosen European port.
  • 4. You clear the car in the EU and pick it up. At the port of discharge, you (or your customs broker) pay import duty, VAT and any local taxes. After customs clearance and technical inspection you register the car in your country and start driving.

The calculator below helps you understand the cost at each stage – from FOB China to the final amount you pay in Europe.

Before you start the calculation

What you need to prepare and where to search for cars in China.

To get realistic numbers from the calculator, please prepare a few details about the car you are interested in:

  • Link to the Chinese listing – on a new-car or used-car marketplace.
  • Listing price in CNY – the amount shown on the website (without our service fee and logistics).
  • Basic vehicle data – brand, model, year of production, engine displacement (for combustion / hybrid cars), electric range (for EV / PHEV) and engine power.
  • Importer type – whether the car will be imported by a private individual or a company.
  • Preferred EU country of customs clearance – Germany, Netherlands, Poland or Lithuania – and the port of arrival.

Once you have the listing and basic data, scroll down to the calculator, fill in the fields and generate two summaries: FOB price in China and EU import cost. You can later paste these summaries directly into the request form at the bottom of the page.

FOB Shanghai / Guangzhou & EU Car Import Cost Calculator

From Chinese listing price to FOB China and total landed cost per car in Europe.

How to use the calculator:

  • Step 1 – Vehicle data & FOB price. Enter the brand, model and basic specs of your car. Paste the listing price in CNY and select whether the car is new or used and what type of powertrain it has. The calculator will estimate the FOB price in Shanghai / Guangzhou, including inland logistics, export handling and our service fee. All internal components of this price remain confidential and are not shown to the user.
  • Step 2 – Shipping & country of import. Choose the European port of discharge, number of cars per container and the country where customs clearance will be done (Germany, Netherlands, Poland or Lithuania). You can accept the suggested insurance and exchange rates or adjust them to your own numbers.
  • Step 3 – EU taxes & total landed cost. The calculator adds 10% import duty, national VAT rate and, where applicable, excise tax or registration / environmental tax. For simplicity we do not include additional anti-dumping duties on Chinese BEV cars introduced in late 2024 – these surcharges, if applicable, must be confirmed individually with your customs broker.
  • Step 4 – Copy the summaries. In the result block you will see FOB price in China, customs value (CIF), detailed breakdown of duty, VAT and optional services, and total landed cost per car in Europe. Copy the FOB summary and EU import summary and paste them into the request form below.
